Consultant School Business Manager

Due to additional contracted work and the continued growth of our portfolio, we’re delighted to now offer this opportunity as a permanent position.

JEM Business Consulting Ltd is seeking a Consultant School Business Manager to join our collaborative consultant team, supporting schools across Cambridgeshire with high-quality business management and financial support.

Role Details:

  • 32.5 hours per week / 43 weeks per year

  • Permanent position

  • Hybrid working (home-based with scheduled school visits) predominantly in Cambridgeshire

  • Flexible working hours

 

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced and confident School Business Manager

  • Has a recognised SBM qualification or working towards this

  • Works confidently both independently and within a team

  • Can manage priorities effectively and stay solutions-focused

  • Brings a positive, steady approach—especially when things get busy
